Mission

Conceived in 2006, FD3 (Originally AYVF) was/is the trendsetter in the GCC for strategic extra-curricular experiential (hands, minds-on) education and practical training programs in STEM & STEAM (A for Aerospace/ Aviation/ Aeronautics/ Astronomy the acronym itself coined first in Mid East), Diplomacy/Global relations, Literacy, Art, Innovation are each underpinned by creativity and EI to foster the can-do spirits in youth.

FD3 maintains a long term goal of boosting inventive and bold thinking youth, entrepreneurial minds -- the 'company creators' that will create private sector jobs deemed vital.

FD3  has directly engaged over 5 million youth across 112 nationalities in over 34 unique, engaging, and many often historic programs that are, as they say, (VERY) "often emulated, but never duplicated."!

Now in our 19th year, what started out in UAE as the Arab Youth Venture Foundation in 2007, has fully repositioned to the Foundation for Development Diplomacy & Defense with dual HQs in Paris, France and Washington, DC.

HOW AND WHY WE CAME TO BE

Our founder is a Silicon Valley raised female global entrepreneur and tech investor who over AYVF's first 10 years amassed a dynamic AYVF team (48 at peak), of 24 nationalities (incl. 13 Arab nations) serving with unparalleled talent & verve.

20 million jobs by 2030 is what drives us since 2006. "MOVE FAST & MAKE BIG THINGS HAPPEN" our founder's motto after the frustrated of the rhetoric in local news and social media and the endless talking heads at regional conferences. She was compelled to take action to serve youth to open up new creative avenues, vistas of oppo for their economic futures.
